Pattern: Baby Bolero from OneSkein
Yarn: Shine Sport in Sea Spray (about 1 skein)
Needles: Denise US 7 and US 8
Started: Apr 9
Finished: Apr 14
Like others have, I found it impossible to pick up the number of stitches specified in the pattern for the ribbed border. Okay, so I didn't even try to. After I picked up what looked like a good amount of stitches, I counted and was 12 stitches under the recommended count...works for me.
The parents decided not to find out the baby's sex in advance, so I thought that this color would be nice and gender neutral. Now I just need to actually mail it off so that it gets there before the baby.

That is so sweet! How did you get the sleeves in? I tried so hard and then just gave up and switched to the kimono. I couldn't get the sleeves to fit in nicely at all.
I love the color. I am sure the parents will too! Congrats!
Aww, that's so amazingly cute! I really should pick up that book. It has so many great patterns in it.
Thank you.
Honestly one of my sleeves looks quite odd if you look at the underarms. I had to bind off the top of the arm loosely and then really stretch it to match up with the opening.
So adorable! I keep seeing great stuff from that book, why don't I own it yet?
